National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) conducts national-level Hotel Management Joint Entrance Exam (JEE).

The exam is conducted as a prerequisite admission to 51 hotel management institutes affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT).

Every year, in the month of April, the council holds the examination to judge the comprehensive understanding of aspirants’ abilities in service sector, communication skills and logical reasoning.

Tentative dates

Applications available:
Start of Dec 2015

Last date for filled-in form receipt:
April 2015

Admit cards available online from:
Mid April 2015

JEE written examination:
Last week of April 2015

Eligibility criteria
The applicant should have 10+2 pass (or equivalent) with English as one of the subjects.

Candidates appearing for 10+2 final exam may also apply provisionally.

Maximum age is 22 years (25 for SC/ST).

Application Fees
General/OBC: Rs. 800/-
SC/ST/PD: Rs. 400

Pattern:

NCHMCT-JEE is three hours paper.

The exam will be divided into five sections of which 30 questions each from Numerical Ability and Scientific Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs and Aptitude for Service Sector and 80 questions from English language.

There will be no negative marking.
