The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology conducts a joint entrance exam for providing admission in B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration and other 11 structured courses of following institutes affiliated to NCHMCT: 21 Institutes of Hotel Management, 12 State Govt. Institutes of Hotel Management, 19 Private Institutes of Hotel Management Eligibility: For applying for the exam, candidate must pass Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English. Pattern of the exam: The question paper of the exam is based on the following subjects: Numerical Ability and Scientific Aptitude Reasoning and Logical Deduction General Knowledge & Current Affairs English Language Aptitude for Service Sector In 2012, the exam has already been conducted so here are the tentative dates for the exam 2013: Start of application process - 1st week of December, 2012 Last date of receipt completed NCHMCT JEE application form- second week of April, 2013 Date of Examination - last week of April, 2013 (Saturday) Declaration of Results- 2nd week of May, 2013 Counseling dates 1st Week of June, 2013 List of test centers: Delhi Chennai Bhopal Gangtok Bangaluru Ahmedabad Jammu Jaipur Dehradun Goa Gurdaspur Guwahati Bhubaneswar Jabalpur Hyderabad Gwalior Chandigarh How to get application form: Applicants can get the application form from affiliated Institutes and selected branches of bank. Applicants can also apply on-line from through its website: nchmct.org. On applying online Gen/OBC candidates will have to pay Rs.900/- and SC/ST/PH candidates will have to pay Rs.450/-. Selection Procedure: Selection in the BSC program is based on the merit list prepared on the basis of the entrance exam. There is no GD and PI after the exam.
