University of Madras is a public state university in Chennai (formerly Madras), Tamil Nadu, India. It was established in 1857,
As you want here I am telling process to apply for consolidated marksheet in Madras University on your demand :
Collect a letter requesting for a consolidated mark sheet along with details such as your name, address, phone number, course, college, batch, registration number and DD details.
A non-refundable demand draft drawn in favour of THE REGISTRAR, UNIVERSITY OF MADRAS.
A photocopy of your consolidated mark sheet (For re-application - if you have already obtained and lost).
A self-addressed envelope of size 11" x 15" stamped for Rs.30.
You can get the DD at the university banks - State Bank of India or Indian Bank. It is advisable to visit the university in the morning hours as you might not be able to procure DD after 3.00 0r 3.30 pm.
The university has a post office as well. Envelopes and stamps can be purchased at the post office.
It is a good idea to get your documents checked at the concerned authority before submission though not mandatory as there are not much documents required.
You must submit the documents along with the DD at the DD section. It generally takes a week's time for the DD to get cleared and reach the consolidated mark sheet section.
Once ready, the consolidated mark sheet will be sent by post to your mailing address.
It took exactly 15 days for it to reach you. It might take additional days for places outside Chennai.
