Haryana B.Ed Colleges Admission Procedure

Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra is conducting Centralized Online Counselling for admission to B.Ed. (Regular) Course for the State of Haryana.

Eligibility:
Applicants with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor Degree and /or in the Master's Degree of Kurukshetra University, Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak, C.D.L.U,Sirsa and Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishav Vidayalaya or any other Qualification recognized as equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the programme.

Division Of Seats

No. of seats to be filled up are around 60,000 in about 460 Colleges of Education located in the State of Haryana.

50% of the total seats in each college shall be reserved for Group-I i.e. Science & Arts with Maths-group candidates.

Other 50% seats shall be reserved for Group-II i.e. Arts & Commerce Group Candidates.

Distribution And Reservation Of Seats

(A) Distribution of seats

The seats shall be distributed as under:

1) All India Category including Haryana : 15%

2) Bonafide Residents of Haryana : 85%

(B) Reservation of seats for Bonafide Residents of Haryana

The seats shall be reserved for the categories as under :

(i) Scheduled Castes : 20%

(ii) Backward Classes of Haryana : 27% (16 % for Block-A)

(iii) Physically Handicapped : 03%

(iv) 3% horizontal reservation will be given to Ex-servicemen/Freedom Fighters.

Duration of B.Ed Course:
The duration of the course of the degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) shall be one year.

Fee for B.Ed Course:
1. Govt./Govt. Aided/University Rs. 10,000/-

2. Self-Financing College of Education Rs. 38,500/-
