Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test is conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) to admit candidates into engineering undergraduate programs for session 2014-15. Here are the details of it:

Eligibility:
The applicant should pass class 12th or equivalent examination from recognized education board with minimum aggregate score of 75% in Physics, Chemistry and Math subject in class XII.

Important dates:
15th February 2014 Deadline to apply for BITSAT-2014
25th February 2014 Test center allotment and announcement to candidates
1st March – 20th March 2014 Candidates to reserve Test dates
15th April – 30th April 2014 Candidates to download the Hall tickets with instructions
14th May –29th May 2014 BITSAT Online tests.
20th May – 30th June 2014 Candidates to apply for admission with 12th marks and Preferences to Degree programmes
1st July 2014 Admit List and Wait List announcement

Application form:
You should register you names for BITSAT by applying in the prescribed Application Form Online. Then you need complete the BITSAT Application Form and pay the prescribed fees. Then also take the print out of the filled form for your future reference. The prescribed fee for BITSAT 2014 is 1900/- (1400/- for female candidates). You do not need to send any documents to the BITSAT office. After submission of the Application, you need to check the application status timely. You need to give following details while filling the form:

• Name: Must be the same as in Class XII or equivalent Marks sheet/Hall Ticket
• Gender
• Date of Birth
• Father’s Name
