Re: GMAT Rules Calculator
Sorry friend, you are not allowed to bring your own calculator for the Graduate Management Admission Test. A calculator will be provided for use during the Integrated Reasoning section only. Calculators are not permitted during the Quantitative section. They can only ask a question which could reasonably be answered without a calculator. You don’t need to figure out an exact answer for every math question in the Graduate Management Admission Test. Example: If you see 48.9 x 8.11, you know that’s going to be very close to 50 x 8 = 400, and that may be close enough to isolate an answer on problem solving. Here I am giving you Mathematic question paper of Graduate Management Admission Test…. 1. The number 0.127 is how much greater than 1/8 ? A. ½ B. 2/10 C. 1/50 D. 1/500 E. 2/500 2. If a and b are both positive, which of the following is a simplification of the expression above? A. a² + b² + 1 B. a + b C. a - b D. ab E. it cannot be simplified further 5. x = y - (50/y), where x and y are both > 0 If the value of y is doubled in the equation above, the value of x will A. decrease B. stay the same C. increase four fold D. double E. increase to more than double 6.
