At LPU the Cumulative Grade Point Average is indicates the overall academic performance of a student in all the courses registered up to and including the latest completed term.

The calculation of TGPA/CGPA will include the credits for courses in which the student has been awarded E or F grades.

Once a student repeats a course, only the latest grade and not the earlier grade(s) will enter in to the computation of CGPA.

Incomplete grades are not included in computing the CGPA or TGPA.

If an indicative percentage of marks are required, the following formula may be used to calculate the same:
Indicative Equivalent Percentage of Marks = CGPA* 9.0
