Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a computer adaptive test for getting admission into a graduate management program. Graduate Management Admission Council Conducts this exam . During the AWA, you are asked to analyze the reasoning behind a given argument and write a critique of that argument. [B] Integrated Reasoning Section[/B] Integrated Reasoning section measures your ability to evaluate information presented in multiple formats from multiple sources. GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a computer based exam that measures verbal, quantitative and analytical ways how candidates write in this particular exam. Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) conducts GMAT every year to choose those candidates who will bring changes in the business world through analytical ideas. The content on the GMAT is broken down into four scored test sections, two of which are scored separately, and two of which are scored separately but are also combined to generate composite score: Analytical Writing Assessment Integrated Reasoning Quantitative Verbal [B]GMAT 2020: Important Dates[/B] Application Form Started Last date for form fill up May 2020 Last date to change city for interview May 2020 Shortlist of Candidates June 2020 Interview dates June to July 2020 Final Results July 2020 [B]GMAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria:[/B] The eligibility criteria for GMAT 2020 are prescribed by GMAC. 1. Candidate should have a minimum graduation degree from a well-reputed institute or a college to apply for the exam. 2. The final year students can also apply for the exam. 3. No age limit to appear for the GMAT exam. [B]GMAT Syllabus[/B] In Quantitative section of GMAT, one will have to attempt two types of questions – Problem Solving and Data Sufficiency. In both sections, analytical ability of one has been measured along with logical reasoning. In this section, no calculator has been used. One should know basic algebra and clear concepts of geometry. In Verbal Reasoning, one should be critical in making inferences. It measures how well a test taker reads passages and makes logical structure out of it. All these reading passages are related to social sciences, humanities, technology, or a business related fields. In Integrated Reasoning, one has to analyze data given in graphical representation like graphs, tables, charts or passages. One has to solve problems that can be verbal or quantitative. Test takers have to find out logical relationships between two entities. In this section, one has been measured on both graphs and data analysis. In Analytical Writing, one has to present a well-researched idea along with coherence and logical argument. In this section, one has to be efficient enough to articulate logical arguments clearly through writing skills. |
