IIM Ahmedabad accepts GMAT Score
Does IIM or Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad accept just Common Admission Test (CAT) score for admission in MBA or Master of Business Administration course or it even accept Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score too?

The two-year full-time Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) is the flagship programme of IIMA (Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad). Its main objective is to develop youngsters into competent professional managers, capable of working in any sector of organized activity, proceeding leadership and achieving excellence in performance while contributing to the welfare of the larger society. [B]PGP Admission/Selection Process[/B] The selection for admission to the 2020-22 batch of the PGP at IIMA is a two-step process. In the first step, one is short-listed for Analytical Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI) from among the candidates who have a valid GMAT score, who have applied to the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme. [B]Short listing and Selection Criteria for PGP 2020-22 batch [/B] 1. Preliminary Screening One fulfilling the following minimum cut offs in the sectional percentile ranks and total percentile ranks in GMAT will only be considered for all subsequent stages. Minimum Cut-offs of GMAT Score Verbal Quantitative Total 40 50 720 2. Short listing for Analytical Writing Test (AWT) & Personal Interview (PI) Taking GMAT percentiles in verbal, quant and total, and AR scores, a merit list will be drawn and shortlisted for AWT & PI using the Composite Score (CS) as follows: composite score ‘CS' subject to their fulfilling criteria C1-C2. Criteria: C1-C2: C1. PT ≥ 80, PQ ≥ 70 and PV ≥ 70 C2. P ≥ 80 (Science), 77 (Commerce), 75 (Arts/Humanities) Where P is the average of the percentages of marks scored in 10th and 12th std. exams 3. Final Selection Selection will strictly be based on the short listing done on the basis of their ‘Final Composite Scores' (FCS).
