Here I am giving you information about allowed maximum attempts for Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) examination below: Number of maximum attempts for GMAT – There is no limit of number of attempts in GMAT. You can retake the GMAT up to 5 times in any 12-month period, but no more than once in any 31-day period. If you score an 800 on the exam, you will not be allowed to retake the test for another 5 years Graduate Management Admission Test syllabus : The GMAT exam is divided into four sections i.e. 1) Quantitative Section 2) Verbal Section 3) Integrated Reasoning and 4) Analytical Writing Assessment. Total time limit for the exam is 3 ½ hrs. Quantitative Section tests candidates’ aptitude in reasoning ability, graphical interpretation and numerical problems. Verbal Section: - This section normally judges the reading ability of candidate. The questions asked in this section are reading comprehensions, critical reasoning and sentence correction questions. Integrated Reasoning: - This is a newly designed section that measures candidate’s skill in data interpretation in multiple formats. It includes four types of questions i.e. table analysis, graphical representation, multi source reasoning and two part analysis. Analytical Writing Assessment: - In this section, candidates have to write an essay on the arguments. The argument topics given in the test mostly cover subjects of general awareness. GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test; it is an international MBA entrance exam There are no limitations GMAT can be attempted as many times you want GMAT Eligibility: There are no particular eligibility criteria for taking GMAT exam. The candidates must be above 18 years of age while taking the GMAT exam. GMAT Selection Procedure: The candidates will receive their scores right after completing the test. The test scores will be valid for 5 years. After getting short listed, the final selection of the candidates will be based on the multiple rounds of selection process such as Statement of Purpose, Letters of Recommendation, Personal Interview and or other rounds conducted by the B-schools.
