There is no limit for attempting in GATE exam . You can apply as number of times for appearing GATE Entrance Exam . Number of Attempts There is no limit for attempting GATE exam. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is conducted by Indian Institute of Science and seven IIT’s (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee) in support of National Coordination Board- GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry (MHRD), Government of India. There is no limit for attempting GATE exam .You can apply as number of times for appearing GATE Entrance Exam . Gate is a eligibility for pursuing M.TECH/M.E in post graduate Gate Eligibility: 1)Bachelor Degree with holding (10+2) qualification. 2)Master Degree Holders can also apply for Gate Exam 3)Candidates who are 3 year or 5 years degree in Technical also can apply for Gate Entrance Exam 4)Students who are qualified from UPSC/AICTE who are equivalent to 4-year degree are also eligible for Gate Entrance Exam. paper pattern : There are total 65 Objective Type Questions comprising of Total 100 Marks. Each question carries only one correct answer. MCQ carries one or two marks each. The marks distribution pattern is as follows: Question 1 to 25 – One Mark each & Negative Marking of 1/3 Question 26 to 55 – Two Mark each & Negative Marking of 2/3rd. Question 56 to 65 – General Aptitude (15 Mark) & Negative Marking of 1/3rd for One marks & 2/3rd for two marks. |
