National Board of Examinations, N. Delhi conducts Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), which is more popularly known as 'MCI Screening Test'.

Exam Pattern

MCI screening test consists of a single computer based paper of 300 MCQs.

No negative marking.

The difficulty level of FMGE (MCI Screening Test) is comparatively high & is
similar to All India PG (MD/MS) Entrance Exam.

Exam syllabus includes all 19 subjects covered in the duration of Indian MBBS
course.

FMGE has a combination of following question-types:

- One liner questions
- Clinical scenarios
- Twisted questions
- Image based questions on plain X-rays, barium X-rays and instruments.
- More emphasis on anti-tubercular drugs, pharmacology and malignancies.
