West Bengal School Service Commission conduct recruitment for Assistant Teacher and Headmaster/ Headmistress in recognized Non-Government aided Schools in West Bengal

It also conducts Non-Teaching Staff in the posts of Librarian, Clerk and Group-D Staff including Laboratory Attendant, Peon, Night Guard, Matron

The West Bengal Service Commission Examination is conducted every year for the recruitment of teachers in Higher Secondary Schools.

The Qualifications that you should have for the examination are:

Education Qualification:

Graduate in any stream from any recognized college/university.

There is no particular bar on the percentage of marks required.

Nationality: India

Age Limit:
Age limit needed is that the candidate must be between 20-40 years of age.

There is certain upper age relaxation for Other Category Candidates as for OBC it is 3 years, SC/ST it is 5 years and for PH candidates it is 10 years

Selection Process
Selection is based on merit and you need to qualify below mentioned stages with top marks.

1. Preliminary Test
2. Mains Test
3. Interview
4. Medical Examination
