Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for providing admission to Chartered Accountancy course. The institute conducts CA CPT twice in a year (June and December), at all the major cities throughout India. Eligibility Applicants should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent, from any recognized Board. Exam Pattern: The test comprises of four subjects viz., Mercantile Laws, Accounting, General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude The test is for 200 marks and is divided into two sessions of two hours each. Subjects are to be studied in CPT as follows: SESSION – I ( Two Sections – Two hours – 100 marks ) Section A: Fundamentals of Accounting ( 60 marks ) Section B: Mercantile Laws ( 40 marks ) SESSION – II ( Two Sections – Two hours – 100 marks) Section C: General Economics ( 50 marks ) Section D: Quantitative Aptitude ( 50 marks) As last date to apply is over , please try next year .
