Educational Qualification For SCRA

Hello sir, my brother is preparing for to get job in SCRA. Is there any one can tell me what Educational qualification is needed for SCRA?

The Union Public Service Commission conducts the Special Class Railway Apprentices’ Examination to select candidates for the Mechanical Department of Indian Railways.

The examination comprises written test in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language, General Knowledge, and Psychological Test (Mental Ability). The question paper will be set in English Language only.

The selected candidates are called for an interview, which is followed by a medical examination.

Eligibility:

Candidates should have passed their Intermediate/class 12th examination with Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry should be studied as one of their main subject in the examination.

Candidates must have secured first or second class as their respective result.

Candidates should have completed their graduation with Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry should be studied as one of their main subject in the examination.

Age:
Candidates, those are interested to appear in this examination should be aged in between 17 to 21 years.
Age relaxation will be completely based on the rules of UPSC.

Nationality:
A candidate must be either:
A citizen of India, and not later than January,
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
