Educational Qualification For NDA

I want to apply for National Defence Academy NDA exam so can you please tell me the educational qualification required to apply for this exam?

National Defence Academy (NDA 2016) is a national level entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruiting candidates to the Indian Defence forces that includes Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force.

The NDA (I) will conduct on 17th April, 2016 and NDA (II) on 18th September 2016.

Educational Qualifications:

For Indian Army wing of National Defence Academy:

Class 12th from a recognized board or university

For Air force and Indian Navy:

Class 12th with physics and Mathematics from a recognized board or university

Exam Pattern

The NDA exam consist of two papers: Mathematics and General ability test

Mathematics: The mathematics paper is of 300 marks and consist of multiple choice questions based on the syllabus of class 10th and 11th. The time allowed to write the paper is 2.5 hr.

General Ability: The General Ability test comprises of two section i.e. Section A and Section B. The section A is of English (200 marks) and Section B (400 marks) is of general knowledge.
