Hello sir I am Shubham and I am here as I want to know want is the Educational Qualification Required for Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service exam so please tell me about it??

Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service exam (IES/ISS) is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for the candidates willing to be a part of the Indian economic policy formulation team Eligibility Criteria: Nationality -Candidates having the citizenship of India or belongs to Nepal and Bhutan can apply for the exam. -Candidates who are migrants from Pakistan, Burma, Sri-lanka and East African countries can also apply for the exam. Age Limit -Candidates having the minimum age 21 years and maximum age 30 years -Candidates who belong to OBC/SC/ST and PH categories will get the age relaxation from minimum 3 years to maximum 10 years. Educational Qualification: For Indian Economic Service: Candidates must have obtained a Post- graduate Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics /Econometrics from a University incorporated by of an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act Parliament. For Indian Statistical Service: Candidate must have obtained a Post-Graduate degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from a University incorporated by of an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act Parliament. Exam Pattern: -The exam will be divided in two parts: Part-1: Written Exam Part-2: Interview -The written exam will contain the maximum 100 marks with each section of 200 marks. -The Sections of the Exam are: General English and General Studies General Economics-I General Economics-II General Economics-III Indian Economics -The Sections of the exam for the ISS are: General English and General Studies Statics-I Statics-II Statics-III Statics-IV -Each of this section will be of 3 hours and 200 marks in total. |
