Delhi Technological University was built up in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic. Today this college is called Delhi Technological University or DelTech or Delhi College of Engineering. For the most part a building College, it offers courses in different designing offices like mechanical, common, electrical, hardware, programming designing and so forth. The college offers courses from Bachelor's level to Doctorate Level (PhD).

It was given a state college status in 2009 preceding which it was subsidiary to Delhi University. Fundamentally a specialized organization offering courses in fields like building, the college has additionally begun administration courses subsequent to 2009.
