Re: Difference Between MS And M.Tech

Following is the difference between MS And M.Tech which you are looking for.

MS course work will have high concentration of research work, where as M.tech is more of studying engineering subjects.

Main advantage for MS in India over any other masters level programs like M.tech, MBA is it will be considered as little bit high standard.

MS in India has more job perspective in comparison to M.tech

The basic difference between the two courses is the study orientation and pattern. The M.Tech course is a more detailed course with a lot of study in it.
Under the M.Tech degree, one has to attend regular classes
On the other hand the M.S course requires least attendance of the classes

Another important difference between the two courses is the course duration.
M.Tech degree generally ends in a time span of 2 years.
In the M.S degree courses, one can stretch up the course to 3 to 4 years till one doesn’t complete his or her project.
