Re: B.Tech degree of ISAT and IIT what s difference
The main difference between both is given below: Their are very few seats available in ISAT (may be around 150) as compared to IIT which has around 8 to 9 thousand seats. In ISAT you have to opt aeronautical Engineering where as in IIT you can opt what you want. Both are top engineering colleges in India. ISAT offers B.Tech in limited fields: Seats The total number of seats for the undergraduate programmes in IIST is 156. The branch-wise distribution of seats is as follows: B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering: 60 seats B.Tech. in Avionics: 60 seats B.Tech. in Physical Sciences: 36 seats IITs offer B.Tech in following: 2. Agricultural and Food Engineering 3. Biological Sciences and Bioengineering 4. Biotechnology 5. Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering 6. Ceramic Engineering 7. Chemical Engineering 8. Chemical Science and Technology 9. Civil Engineering 10. Computer Science and Engineering 11. Electrical Engineering 12. Electrical Engineering (Power) 13. Electronics Engineering 14.
