The Department of Zoology is one of the first Departments to be Established by the Savitribai Phule Pune University in 1950.

Situated on an exceptionally beautiful and picturesque campus of the University of Pune, the Department of Zoology offers postgraduate courses leading to M. Sc., M. Phil. and Ph.D. degrees.

Admission to the M.Sc. Zoology is by Entrance Examination.

The Examination is generally conducted in the month of June,
