The eligibility required for taking admission in the DBT Associateship is as given below:

DBT Associateship eligibility:
The candidate should hold a PhD degree in Science degree in any area of medicine with research interests in Biotechnology and Life Sciences.

The candidate should have a good academic record.

The candidate those who have already submitted the PhD/MS thesis are also eligible to apply.

The candidates should have the age of 40 years and 45 years in case of women and in service candidates.

The candidates that are already employed are also eligible to apply.

Applications are Invited from Indian Nationals for the award of "DBT-Research Associate ship" for the pursuing research in frontier areas of Biotechnology and Applied Biology

Eligibility:

Applicants Should hold a PhD Degree in Science, Engineering or M.D. or M.S. Degree in any area of Medicine with Research Interests in Biotechnology and Life Sciences and a Good Academic Record

Research Associate ship is tenable for a period of 2 years.

Those who have already submitted the PhD/MD/MS, thesis are also eligible to apply.

Applicants should age of 40 years, and 45 years in case of women candidates.

Candidates may submit their Application on Plain Paper Strictly as per the Format .


Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be Selected Based on their CV and Performance in the Interview

The interview will be held at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and candidates called for Interview will not be Paid TA/DA to attend the Interview

Stipend: Rs. 36,000-38,000 per month

Research contingency grant of Rs. 50, 000 per year, payable to the host Institution
