Here is the eligibility criteria
1. Educational Qualification
Aspiring candidates including must possess an including CSIR departmental candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree of a recognized university in any discipline as on 31st Dec, 2016

2. Age limits
A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 30 years in the year he is taking the exam.

3. Nationality:
A candidate must be either:
A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee
