Can you tell me in detail about the recruitment opened in CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO) in July 2016 for different posts?

CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO) had issued a notification for the recruitment of PF/ SPF, JRF, RA/ SRF & Research Intern vacancies for various projects on contract/ temporary basis.

Eligible candidates attended walk in interview on 16-07-2016 at 08.30 AM.

Total No. of Posts: 07

Name of the Post:
1.PF/ SPF: 03 Posts
2. JRF: 01 Post
3. RA/ SRF: 02 Posts
4. Research Intern: 01 Post

Age Limit:
Candidate’s upper age should be:
28 years for Project Fellow & JRF
32 for Senior Project Fellow & SRF
25 for RI, 35 for RA

Age relaxation:
5 years is applicable to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH & women candidates for the positions of PF/SPF and RI.
For positions of JRF/ SRF/ RA relaxation of age is
5 years for SC/ ST,
03 for OBC,
10+5 for PH (SC/ ST),
10 for PH (UR) & Widows, Divorced women and women Judicially separated from their husband and who are not re-married and falls under the category of UR upto 35 years,
OBC upto 38 years
SC/ST upto 40 years will be applicable as per GOI/CSIR instructions.

Educational Qualification:
One should possess:
M. Sc in relevant discipline for S.No-1 & 2
Ph. D in Applied Physics for S.No-3
B.E/ B. Tech. in Electronics/ Electronics & Comm/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control or equivalent for S.No-4 with relevant experience

Selection Process:
One was selected based on interview.
