Hi I want to take admission in the Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC) of CSIR Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO) to Diploma courses so can you please tell me the deadlines and the eligibility criteria ??

Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC) of CSIR Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO) offers admission to Diploma courses.


CSIO Qualification

You must have passed the Matriculation or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Science and English as subjects from any recognized school / board.

Those who have appeared in the qualifying examination this year, are also eligible to apply.


CSIO Admission deadlines

Opening Date for Online submission of ISTC Entrance Form May 2017

Closing Date for Online submission of ISTC Entrance Form June 2017

Last date for Receipt of Application Form June 2017

Starting Date to print the e – Admit Card (Tentative) June 2017

Entrance Test Date (Day) July 2017

Result declaration (Tentative) July 2017

Admission Counselling (Tentative) July 2017

Session starts on Aug 2017

Way Of Application

You have to apply online only.

Before applying online, you are advised to read instructions carefully given in
the Information Brochure.

The non-refundable charges for cost of Application form including examination fee are
Rs. 1000/- for General/OBC Candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST Candidates

The fee is to be deposited directly in any branch of State Bank of India into the Power
Jyoti Account Number 33004547024 with the help of Fee Deposit Slip.

The valid email id of the applicant/parents/guardian is mandatory for applying and future communication.

Applicant must put his left-hand thumb impression at appropriate place in the printed
application form.

If a candidate has problem in the submission of Online application form, he/she may visit
CSIO-ISTC office.
