Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Constable Tradesman exam is conducted in written form to select the best candidates. The exam is conducted for candidates for trades such as Driver, Washer man and Hair Dresser, Pipe Band, Cook, Water Carrier, Safai Karamchari, Barber, Fitter, Bugler, Tailor, Cobbler, Carpenter, Painter, Gardener, Brass Band.


CRPF Constable Tradesman Exam Syllabus

Elementary Mathematics/ Quantitative Aptitude: Includes questions on L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Simplification, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Decimals, Fractions, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Tables & Graphs, etc.


General Knowledge: It includes- History, Geography, economic development of Himachal Pradesh, current events of National and International importance, day to day observations, scientific aspects, previous happenings of about Modern History (From 1857 onwards) of India, Indian Economy including Geography of India, Indian culture and Indian Polity.


Hindi/English Knowledge: Understanding correct English & Hindi is basic requirement today and so the questions are asked based on spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, error recognition, verbs, preposition, articles, vocabulary, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words.


Analytical Aptitude/ Reasoning Ability: Question (verbal and non-verbal) are asked in this section which are analogies, similarities and differences, odd man series, table concepts, figure classification, pattern matching, relationship, Venn diagrams, blood relationship concepts.
