As you want to take admission in Mumbai University (MU) so I am telling you that admission is taken on the base of Common Entrance Test (CET).

Applications are invited by University of Mumbai (MU) for admission to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Course in the month of April every year.

Duration of the Course:

The minimum duration of the programme at MU is Two years.

Subject Offered at MU B.Ed Admission:

English, Hindi, History, Geography, Economics, Commerce, Science, Mathematics

Admission in B.Ed at MU will be done by the candidate will be required to submit the filled-in application form with attested copy of documents as specified in Entrance-cum-Admission Form.

Procedure of Selection:

Application for Mumbai University B.Ed Admission will be selected through Common Entrance Test (CET).

Candidates will be examined in the following subjects: 5 papers x 100 marks each

Paper I: Foundations of Education
Paper II: Educational Psychology
Paper III: Educational Management and Educational Evaluation
Paper IV: Information and Communication Technology in Education & Special Field.


Eligibility:

A candidate for the degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) should have passed a Bachelor’s degree examination of this University or a corresponding degree examination of any other university recognised as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate at the Bachelor's degree examination and must have offered subjects relating to secondary/Higher Secondary level as per the requirements laid down by the State Government in that regard.

Relaxation of the minimum percentage of marks at the Bachelor's degree examination for candidates from Reserved Categories and serving teachers will be based on State Government rules made from time to time in that respect.

With this candidate must have subsequent to his passing the Bachelor's degree examination. Kept two terms for the full-time B.Ed. and four terms for part-time B.Ed. course separated over a maximum period of two and four consecutive years respectively in a college of education .

The total marks for the entrance examination will be 100 and the duration of the examination will be of 90 minutes.

The minimum period of Mumbai University BEd Admission is one year.
