CMU ECE Graduate Admission

Please provide me information about the admission in ECE departments at CMU.

ECE is the largest department within Carnegie Mellon's engineering college, the Carnegie Institute of Technology. Exciting new research is taking place in ECE. The ECE Department collaborates with partners from academia and industry both locally and worldwide.

Deadlines
Most applications are due by the following dates:
Spring admission: October 1
Fall admission: December 15

GRE Test
The GRE General Test is required of all applicants.

TOEFL Test
The TOEFL test is required of all international applicants whose “native” language is not English.

Financial Aid:
Financial aid is awarded upon admission in the form of research assistantships based upon departmental resources and available openings.

Non-Refundable Application Fee Of $70

M.S in SE: Not available until Fall admissions
