The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a computer adaptive test (CAT) which assesses a candidate’s analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills

It is an international MBA entrance exam.

Eligibility:
There are no particular eligibility criteria for taking GMAT exam.

The candidates must be above 18 years of age while taking the GMAT exam.

Exam Pattern:
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) shall be having three main parts on the following topics:

1) Analytical Writing Assessment
2) Quantitative Section and
3) Verbal Section

Distribution of Questions:
Analytical Writing Assessment- 1 Question

Integrated Reasoning- 12 Questions

Quantitative Aptitude- 37 Questions and

Verbal- 41 Questions

Total Time Allotted:

3 Hours and 30 Minutes

Time Allotted to different Sections:

Writing Section- Analysis of Issue Essay and Argument Essay- 30 Minutes each

Maths Section- 75 Minutes and

Verbal Section- 75 Minutes

GMAT Selection Procedure:
The candidates will receive their scores right after completing the test.

The test scores will be valid for 5 years.

After getting short listed, the final selection of the candidates will be based on the multiple rounds of selection process such as
Statement of Purpose,
Letters of Recommendation,
Personal Interview and or other rounds conducted by the B-schools.
