The CLAT entrance exam for the post-graduate programme (L.L.M.) is for admission to NLSIU, WBNUJS, HNLU, GNLU, NALSAR, NLIU, RMLNLU and RGNUL only.

Eligibility:

Applicants must have passed the LL.B. / B.L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized University.

General Candidates: 50% marks in aggregate

SC/ST/ OBC and Persons with Disability: 45%

CLAT LLM Syllabus:

Total Marks: 200

Topics:

Law of Torts

Family Law

Law of Contracts

Criminal Law

Constitutional Law

Legal Theory

Number of Questions:

i) Short Answers: 10 questions of five marks each

ii) Objective Type: 50 questions of one mark each

iii) Essay: Two questions of 50 marks each
