Will you please tell what is the process of getting job in Indian Air Force for making career in air force for a B.Tech graduates ?

B.Tech graduates can get job in Indian Air Force Flying Branch and in Technical Branch.

Aspirant candidate can get job through :

1)Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE),
Flying (Pilot) Short Service Commission
National Cadet Corps Special Entry in Flying Branch.

2)Direct Entry Scheme and University Entry Scheme (UES) are options available to join the Technical Branch in Indian Air Force.

Eligibility for Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) –

Age group :
19 and 23 years

Qualification :
Graduation.

National Cadet Corps Special Entry eligibility –

Unmarried male candidates having ‘C’ certificate in NCC Air Wing Senior Division.

Minimum of 60% marks is required for B.Tech course to apply through this scheme.

Age limit :between 19 and 23 years


Direct Entry Scheme eligibility :

Age between :
18 and 28 years

Unmarried applicants should be below 25 years.

One should have minimum of 60% marks in their B.Tech course.

University Entry Scheme (UES) eligibility :

Candidate must studying in the final semester of B.Tech course can apply through this scheme.

Candidates should have minimum of 60% aggregate up to last semester at the time of applying .

Only men candidates are eligible.

Hey if you had done BTECH then surely you can join air force

To join Army, Navy or Air Force you have to appear in CDS Exmaination.

Here I am giving you details :-

CDS:- Combined Defence Service

CDS Examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year as CDSI & CDSII.

Eligibility Criteria for CDS

For Army-

You should passed Graduation in any stream. age should be 19 to 24 years

For Navy/Air Force

- You should completed 4 year graduation degree in engineering

For Navy Candidate's

age should be in between 19 to 22 & 19 to 23 for Air Force

Candidate appearing in final year are also eligible to apply for CDS
Examination

Candidate should be unmarried male & citizen of India

National Cadet Corps Special Entry –

This special entry scheme is for the unmarried male candidates having ‘C’ certificate in NCC Air Wing Senior Division. Selected candidates can join through permanent commission.

There is no written examination for joining flying branch through this scheme but there will be personal interview which will be conducted by Service Selection Board (SSB).

Minimum of 60% marks is required for B.Tech course to apply through this scheme. The specified age limit to apply through this special entry scheme is between 19 and 23 years.
