Re: Can one become pilot with spectacles

According to me you do not need perfect eyesight to become a Commercial Pilot. As long as your eyesight can be corrected to near normal then you can hold the Commercial Pilot license. One can become a pilot, If they have vision 20/20 with corrective lenses. Many commercial pilots wear glasses.

Eligibility

to become pilot one should complete 12th PCM from a recognized board.

or atleast 50 percent marks in 12th standard.

Age limit

For Commercial pilot course is 18 to 28 years.

Physical Requirement

Height
should be at least 5 feet tall

Eyesight

The requirement is 6/6 vision. However who wearing
glasses can also apply only if their eyes are correctable to 20/20
for distance view and 20/40 for near vision.

for do it you can take admission in Indira Gandhi Institute of Aeronautics which offered PILOT TRAINING course , here I am providing application form for your fecility:
