Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) was established in 1928, it is India’s premier institute in banking and finance education, aiming for professional excellence.

Indian Institute of Banking & Finance conducts CAIIB Exam for providing advanced knowledge necessary for better decision making covering risk, financial and general bank management.

Applicants must have completed JAIIB or PART-1 of the Associate Examination, and their membership subscription should not be in arrears.

Subject of Examination:

I. Compulsory Paper
1. Advanced Bank Management
2. Bank Financial Management

II. Elective Papers (Candidates to choose any one of their Choice)
1. Corporate Banking 7. Human Resources Management
2. Rural Banking 8. Information Technology
3. International Banking 9. Risk Management
4. Retail Banking 10. Central Banking
5. Co-operative Banking 11. Treasury Management
6. Financial advising

Pattern Of Examination:
Applicants are allowed to attempt the examination either in Hindi or English, and should clearly fill in their choice of medium in the Examination Application Form. In any case change of medium will not be allowed at a later stage.

(i) Each Question Paper will contain approximately 100 objective type multiple choice questions, carrying 100 marks including questions based on case study / case lets. The Institute may, however, vary the number of questions to be asked for a subject. There will not be negative marking for wrong answers.

(ii) Questions for the examination will be asked for :
(i) Knowledge testing (iv) Problem solving
(ii) Conceptual grasp (v) Case analysis
(iii) Analytical / logical exposition

Duration Of Examination:
The duration of the examination will be of 2 hours.
