Can you provide me the age requirement for BPSC (Bihar Public Service Commission) as I am planning to sit for the exam?

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) recruits exam under different administrative services under Group B and C respectively through the common written exam held in the state every year.

Eligibility:

The candidates should have passed Graduation in any discipline from nay recognized university/ colleges for appearing in the Bihar Public Service Commission exam.

The qualifying ages of all the candidates should be ranging in between 19 and 24 years.

The candidates seeking relaxations in the upper ages is given as per the rules framed by the government for this purpose.

Qualifying Disciplines for Eligibility:

Mathematics/ Mechanical Engineering/ Economics/ Chemical Engineering/ Geology/ Civil Engineering/ Natural Sciences

Exam Pattern:

The exam is consisting of the following three stages namely: Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Interview respectively.

Preliminary Examination

It consists of objective type questions on the following three compulsory subjects and 2 optional papers to be answered in the Mains Exam.

Main Examination:

This exam contains the subjective type questions from any two optional papers as selected by the candidates for this purpose.

Interview:

The interview is held for all the written –preliminary and main qualified candidates only. The final selection in the Bihar Public Service Commission Recruitment Exam is based on the performance of the candidates in all the 3 examinations.

Hey as BPSC (Bihar Public Service Commission) conducts recruitments in various departments.

Age limit:

Applicants must not exceed the age limit of

37 years (general),

40 years (OBC)

42 years (SC/ST).

Selection procedure:

Applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in an examination and personal interview which will be conducted by BPSC.
