I am planning to do BDS degree from Banaras Hindu University and want to know about the scholarships provided to the student of BHU University. Please provide me the various types pf scholarships offered at BHU along with the scholarships amount of BHU?

Banaras Hindu University Scholarship for Undergrauate Students on Merit Based Scholarship.

The scholarship is open to Indian students who have good quality academic results. This scholarship is available for the students to pursue under graduate courses at Banaras Hindu University.

Scholarship Details

The scholarship awards an amount of Rs.1000 per month for one academic year and and an endowment of Rs.200000/- (Rs.Two Lakh) would be required. This scholarship is available to Indian students to study all undergraduate courses at Banaras Hindu University.

Eligibility Criteria Requirements:
To be eligible for this scholarship, the Student must be Indian citizen and the Student must have good academic results.

Indian Institute of Technology-Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU), Varanasi offers scholarships for Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) & Scholarships for students pursuing Ph.D program offered in Engineering disciplines

Scholarship Details are as folows:

Ph.D. students admitted with M.Tech./M.Pharm./MBA credentials will get Rs 18,000 per month for first 2 years and Rs 20,000 per month for next 2 years

Ph.D. students admitted with B.Tech./B.Pharm./4yr B.S./M.Sc./M.A. credentials will get Rs 16,000 per month for first 2 years and Rs 18,000 per month for next 3 years

Eligibility:

Applicants should have master's degree in engineering in the discipline concerned or in an allied discipline/area must have a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the master's degree level.

Applicants should have bachelor's degree in engineering in the discipline concerned or in an allied discipline/area must have a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the bachelor's degree level.
