Banaras Hindu University and IIT

I want to do B.Tech, so I had appeared in IIT JEE Exam and got rank 1002. Now I have to fill application form for counseling. So I have to fill list of engineering colleges. I am confused between IIT Mumbai and Banaras Hindu University that which is better for me? If I will get admission in BHU, can I get good placement better from IIT Mumbai? Tell me.
