Allahabad University Law Syllabus
After 12th I want to take admission in B. A. LL.B. (Hons.) Course at Department of Law - University of Allahabad and want to appear in University of Allahabad LLB Admission Test so please give me Syllabus and exam pattern of this law test?

University of Allahabad conducts Law Admission Test (LAT) for admission to LL.B three years course. Allahabad University Law Syllabus LAT Paper 1: Language Comprehension The syllabus/topics which aspirants can prepare to perform well in this section of LAT exam are as follows: Reading Comprehension Synonyms Antonyms Homonyms Vocabulary One-word substitution Spellings Idioms Phrases Syntax Grammar Knowledge of proverbs Figures of speech Legal terms LAT Paper 2: General Awareness and Current Affairs Some topics aspirants can prepare in order to score well in this paper of LAT exam are listed below: Indian & World History Geography Environment Indian Culture Indian National Movement Constitution Legal System Constitutional principles & Practices Science & Technology Contemporary National, Regional, International Political & Economic Perspective Issues International Organisations Treaties LAT Paper 3: Reasoning and Mental Ability Some topics that candidates should study to perform well in Paper-3 of LAT exam are as follows: Mental Ability and Logical/Mathematical Analysis Deductive Reasoning Odd-Even Discretion Logical Fallacy Analogy Syllogism Agreement and Disagreement Paper Pattern Allahabad University LAT 2018 Pattern:- The Law Admission Test shall be of 2:00 hours duration. The test shall consist of 150 questions of 300 marks. The paper is divided into three parts. The questions to Part - I (Language Comprehension), Part - II (General Awareness & Current Affairs) and Part - III (Reasoning, Mental Ability and Legal Aptitude) are of 2 marks each and for every correct answer candidate shall be awarded 2 marks and for every wrong answer 0.5 of a mark will be deducted. |
