Indian Maritime University is the sole body with regards to granting training identified with the oceanic part. Throughout the years, country was feeling a need of brought together college to provide food all the most recent needs and requests of workforce.

IMU conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) to take possibility for different courses.

Determination Process at IMU

IMU CET Eligibility Criteria

Taking after are the qualification criteria:

1. DNS course:
A) 60% (PCM) and half (English) in twelfth class
B) B.Sc (Any of these Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/Electronics) passed competitors with 55 % marks.
C) B.Tech applicants with 50 % in English.

Note: Applicants applying for DNS needs travel permit before the confirmation.

2) B.Sc-3 years-60% (PCM) and half (English) in twelfth Class. For B.Sc in Ship Building and Repair just half in PCM.

3) B Tech Marine Engineering/Naval Architecture – 60%(PCM) and half (English) in twelfth Class. second Year sidelong section competitors ought to have sought after Marine or Mechanical or Naval Architecture or Electrical in certificate.

Note: Lateral Entry into B.Tech system is still in procedure by the IMU and no confirmation will arrive till further notice.

4) PG Diploma in Marine Engineering-50 % in B.Tech/B.E course or program.

5) M Tech Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering-60 % in B.Tech in Mechanical /Civil/Aeronautical/Marine/Naval Architecture.

6) MBA-50 % with any stream.

7) LLM (Maritime Law)- half in any law degree.
