Yes, it is compulsory to have Master’s Degree from recognized college approved by the AICTE for admission in Ph. D Programme offered by School of Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering of Indian Maritime University.


Admission to the full time Ph. D Programme of the Indian Maritime University is for candidates with M. Tech / M.E. or equivalent degree

One applying for Ph.D. programme should have obtained their Master’s Degree from recognized colleges / Universities which are approved by the AICTE / UGC.

Admission to reserved category candidates will be done as per Government of India notification.

2. Selection through interview at the campus

Application Registration Fee

The registration fee for the programme is Rs 1000 which is inclusive of price of Prospectus and application form is to be paid along with application.
