AIPVT Medical Entrance Exam
I have completed 12th and want to give AIPVT (All India Pre Veterinary Test) for admission in B.V.Sc & A.H. Course so please give me details to apply for this Medical Entrance Exam including percentage in 12th and selection procedure?

Hello buddy ! All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT)-2015 to be conducted by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) for filling up 15% of All India Quota Seats in Veterinary Colleges in India (except from the State of Jammu & Kashmir) AIPVT Eligibility Criteria: i) The candidates should be Indian Nationals (except from the State of Jammu & Kashmir) ii candidate attained or will attain the age of 17 years. The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under 15% All India Quota Seats is 25 years Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the Candidates of SC/ST/ OBC iii) Candidate must have passed any of the following qualifying examination AIPVT 2015 Qualifying Examinations: The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination equivalent to 10+2 Higher / Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of study with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 (years) educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education (or) Physical Disability: A applicants shall not be allowed admission to B.V.Sc & A.H. degree course including those admitted under 15% received quota of VCI if he/she suffer disabilities in physical fitness as Listed below: a) Disability of total body including disability of chest/spine more than 50% b) Disability of lower limb of more than 50% c) Disability of upper limb d) Visually handicapped candidates and those with hearing disability, e) Candidates with progressive diseases like myopathies etc. f) Disabilities which otherwise would interfere in the performance of duties of a veterinarian AIPVT Exam of Pattern: a) The AIPVT- Examination shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) b) Question Paper shall be in English and Hindi Date, Time and Venue of Exam: Saturday, the 20th June 2015 (time 02.00 pm to 05.00 pm) at the centres (cities) given in the Information Bulletin |
