The detail about the admission details of MBBS Course in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is as follows:

Age:
Students should have attained or need to attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission.

Essential Qualifications:
Students should have passed the 12th Class under School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent exam of a recognized University or Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.

Student should have passed the 12thClass under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Exam (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent exam of a recognized University/ Board of any Indian State with ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY.

Students who have appeared or are appearing at the qualifying exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subject and expect to pass the exam with required percentage of marks are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Exam. However, their application will be considered only if one will provide documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying exam with the required subjects and percentage of marks.

If the Institute has to consider an exam of an Indian University or of a foreign/university to be equivalent to the 12th class under 10+2 scheme/Intermediate Science exam, the students shall have to produce a certificate from the concerned Indian University/Association of the Indian Universities to the effect that the exam passed by one is considered by them to be equivalent to the 12th class under 10+2 scheme/

Minimum Aggregate:
For a General and OBC student minimum aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology is 60% and that for SC&ST is 50 %.

For Overseas Citizen of India (OCI):
All terms and conditions applicable for Indian nationals students given in the prospectus will be applicable for Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).

For Foreign Nationals:
Foreign students nominated by the Government of India are required to have minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology in their Intermediate Science or an equivalent exam. They are not required to appear in the AIIMS Entrance Exam.

AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam Syllabus
The general standard of the Competitive Entrance Exam will be that of 12th class under the 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science. No syllabus has been prescribed by the Institute for the exam.

AIIMS MBBS Admissions Entrance Exam Pattern
The Competitive Entrance Exam will be of 3½ hours duration and will have one paper consisting of 200 objective questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge. The distribution of questions is :
