St. Xavier’s College is an Autonomous and affiliated to University of Mumbai, runs the BA, B Sc, B Com, MA and MSc Government Aided Degree Courses on Campus. It also conducts BMM, BMS, BS c I.T., M.Sc. Biotechnology and MA Public Policy, Degree Courses on a Self-Financing Basis

Eligibility for BMS
Applicant need to appear for the BMS Entrance Exams.

Applicants belonging to the General Category (GC) whose date of birth falls on or after 1st June 1991 are eligible to appear for the Entrance Exams BMS/BMM

Applicants belonging to the Catholic religious community and SC/ST candidates who are 25 years are eligible to appear for the Entrance Exams BMS/BMM.

The Date of Birth Certificate is required. In case of minority Applicant the Baptism Certificate will be necessary.

Year of passing Qualifying Examination (QE):

Applicant must have passed a QE or will be appearing for the same. Those who will be appearing in the QE later than June 30th are not eligible to apply for BMS/BMM

The Qualifying Examinations (QEs) are listed below:

The final exam of the 10 + 2 course conducted by any recognized Central / State Board.

Intermediate or 2 year pre-university exam conducted by a recognized Board / University

High School Certificate Exam of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva

Senior Secondary School Exam conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of 5 subjects.

Minimum Percentage of marks in QE

Applicant belonging to the GC, must secure at least 65% marks in aggregate in their QE.

Applicant from the Minority Community must secure at least 60% in the QE.

SC/ST Applicant must secure at least 55% marks in their QE.
