Can you tell me the admission process in IHM (Institute of Hotel Management) as I want to take admission in it?

For taking admission in IHM (Institute of Hotel Management) one have to clear the JEE Exams for Full-time regular program in B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration offered jointly by the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology and the Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Eligibility Requirements for NCHMCT JEE
A pass in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects in 12th.

Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent exam can also appear in JEE exam on provisional basis.

Qualifying Exams for Indian Students:
Plus two level exam in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central/State Board.

Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Exam conducted by a recognized Board/University. General Certificate Education (GCE) Exam (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level High School Certificate Exam of the Cambridge University

Any Public School/Board/University Exam in India or in a foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education. H.S.C. Vocational Exam

Senior Secondary School Exam conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects.

Age Limit as on 01 July:

For students from General and OBC categories, upper age limit is 22 years as on 1st July.

For Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe student, upper age limit is 25 years as on 1st July.
Upper age limit for Physically Challenged candidates shall be of the opinion as per the category one belongs to i.e. General/SC/ST/OBC.

For Date of birth certification Secondary Education Board/Pre-University Certificate shall be the authentic proof that will be accepted.

At counseling time, the certificate must be produced in original as a proof of age, failing which the student will not be considered for counseling/admission.

Minimum qualification:

Candidate should passed in the examination of 10+2 system of Senior Secondary education or its equivalent.

Candidates appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE on provisional basis.

Age limit:
Upper age limit is 22 years.
