As per my knowledge there is yet no change in the admission criteria for New IIMs. Admission for any course in IIMs is take place through CAT Exam below I am providing you details of CAT Exam Common Admission Test (CAT) is national-level management entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM). CAT scores are used for admission to various management courses across the country. Eligibility Criteria The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD) / Differently Abled (DA) category) awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India Syllabus English/Verbal Ability: Reading comprehension, verbal reasoning, syllogisms, analogies, antonyms and synonyms, fill in the blanks, sentence correction, idioms, etc. Maths/Quant Ability: Number systems, geometry, trigonometry, probability, permutation combination, algebra, mensuration, time and work, averages, percentages, profit and loss, quadratic and linear equations, etc. Data Interpretation: Interpretation and analysis of data based on text, tables, graphs (line, area), charts (column, bar, pie), venn diagram, etc. Logical Reasoning: Clocks, calendars, binary logic, seating arrangement, blood relations, logical sequence, assumption, premise, conclusion, linear and matrix arrangement, etc. Exam Pattern CAT is an online exam and CAT aspirants will have to solve 100 questions in 180 minutes. It has three sections: Quantitative aptitude (60 min) Data interpretation and logical reasoning (60 min) Verbal and reading comprehension (60 min) |
