Admission In B.Tech after Diploma

Please tell me what is the process for getting admission at Lovely professional University’s B.Tech engineering course after Diploma ?

After diploma in engineering you can get admission in B.Tech course of the Lovely Professional University through the Lateral entry scheme directly in the second year of the engineering degree course.

Eligibility criteria :

Candidate should passed with 70% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) (3years after 10th) or B.Sc (Non- medica)/ B.Sc (Computer Science) or equivalent.

OR

Candidate should passed with 50% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) (3years after 10th) or B.Sc (Non- medical)/ B.Sc (Computer Science) or equivalent subject to valid score in LPUNEST-2014.


For B.Tech (Civil Engg)
Diploma in Architectural Assistantship will also be considered; other things remaining same as above.

For B.Tech (Biotechnology)
Only Diploma (Biotechnology) or B.Sc (Medical) or B.Sc. Bio Sciences will be considered; other things remaining same as above.

For B.Tech (CSE) and B.Tech (IT)
BCA will also be considered; other things remaining same as above.

For B.Tech (Food Technology)
B.Sc. Medical or B.Sc Bio-Sciences will also be considered; other things remaining same as above.
