B.Ed programme of IGNOU is recognized by all member Universities of Association of India Universities (AIU) and is at par with Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates of all Indian Universities/Institutions, as per UGC Circular letter no. F.1-52/2000(CPP-II) dated 05th May, 2004, AIU Circular No. EV/11(449/94/176915-177115 dated 14th January, 1994 and AICTE Circular No AICTE/Academic/MOU-DEC/2005 dated 13th May, 2005

For taking admission in B.Ed the candidate must pass the entrance exam for this course.
Duration: 2 years
Maximum period: 4 years
Medium of Instruction: English and Hindi
Eligibility:
A bachelor’s degree or a higher degree from a recognized university with 50% marks

Admission Process:
Admission shall be done Regional Centre-wise on the basis of the score obtained in the entrance test conducted by IGNOU all over India
