Can you provide me detail about number of books available in Library of West Bengal State University (WBSU)?

The WBSU University has a library situated on the ground floor of its main building and it is equipped with internet facility.


Area:

The Library is in the Guest House, which was the first building to come up on the University outskirts, in two rooms about 1800 sq ft. The collections for all 28 departments will be transformed to the new space for the Library.


Books:

The total number of books in the Library are 15,906 in number, consisting of 11, 536 titles.
In 2015, a fresh session of 3998 new books has been added, which are in the process of being catalogued digitally available.


E-Journals:

It provides service of e-Journals through Online Service. Students and Staff Members can take advantage of this Service.


Facilities:

Library has 2 photocopiers which can be used by the students and faculty. Students can browse e-journals and e-books available through the Associate Membership of INFLIBNET-UGC.

The total funding received for the Library from the State is 1 crore 57 lakhs.

Library fee (once) - 500/-

Library caution deposit (Refundable) - 500/-
