Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education was established in January 1, 1966, it is a statutory and autonomous body established under the Maharashtra Secondary Boards Act 1965

This board conducts the SSC and HSC examinations. The exams are conducted in March and results declared in June
