WBJEE is a State Level Examination which is Conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) for admission to different undergraduate courses in engineering, medical, architecture and pharmacy field at numerous private and government institutions across West Bengal


Eligibility Criteria :

Interested candidates must be a citizen of India.

Candidates must be 17 years old

For Marine engineering, must not be more than 25 years

Candidates must have citizenship of West Bengal. Domicile is not required in case you want to get admission into private or self-aided university).

Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination from state board or CBSE board and secured minimum 60% of marks (for reserved category candidates the minimum scored mark is 55%).

if candidates want to get admission at any other institution, they must have secured minimum 45% marks (the mark is 40% for reserved category candidates).

Candidates should not have any medical illness.

WBJEE Exam Pattern :

All questions asked in the exam will be MCQ type along with four options.

Candidates need to answer questions in OMR Answer Sheet by using blue/black ball point pen only.


The language of examination was English only.

The pattern was as per following manner:
