The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination or the WB-JEE is a state-government controlled centralized test for admission to many private and governmental medical and engineering institutions in West Bengal.

WBJEE Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be Indian Nationals

They must meet the Domicile Requirements as specified below

The Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 level) or its equivalent examination with an aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST/PwD)

They must have studied Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects (Engineering Drawing / Computer Science) as optional subjects.

WBJEE Exam Pattern

The “WBJEEM ” examination will be conducted on four subjects :

Biological Sciences
Mathematics
Physics and Chemistry

Based on courses offered, there will be 3 ( Three ) categories of examinees as listed below :

Availability of courses through WBJEEM Candidates have to appear in the following Type
Engg / Tech / Arch / Pharm Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry E
Medical / Dental / Pharm Biological Sciences, Physics, Chemistry M
Engg / Tech / Arch / Pharm / Medical Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry C
Pharmacy only / ( other than Jadavpur University ) Physics / Chemistry E / M / C
